Anticipate Revelations

Revelation is revealing what is not already known or anticipated. God love telling us great and mighty things that we do not know.Besides, He is the only one who knows the future. Why shouldn't He allow us to take a peak into tomorrow so that we can anticipate a blessed future. Fasting and praying heightens the intensity and the frequency of the revelations. Just remember, God is always trying to communicate with us. He wants to influence the footsteps you will take tomorrow, next week, and next year. He wants to be the one who orders your footsteps. When you are praying during your fast, keep a notebook available. Be ready to write in a moment's notice when God starts to illuminate your mind with answers to questions you never asked, or remind you of that phone call you need to make. Whatever you need to fulfill God's purpose in your life, God will reveal it in "gps" fashion.

Just pray!

We are living in urgent times. Terrorism from abroad and from within. We need to pray! It is expected that we would pray for our interest: Family, friends, health, prosperity, and to enjoy the fruit of our labor. Nevertheless, we must pray for our nation, men and women in uniform, men and women in blue, our elected officials, and don't forget our toxic politics. The bible teach that our prayers must be deep and wide. What good is it to have everything you want in prayer, but living in a seriously damaged world. Let us pray for revival. Revival is not just for the saved, it is also for the unsaved. I am praying for revival in the church, marriages, prodigal children, and for revival in the soul of the weary righteous who have all but given up. Believers calling themselves mature, won't even come to church regularly. They thing that because they know the bible from Genesis to Revelation, they have already attained the highest of righteousness. Truth is they have become weary because knowing the Word ain't the same as doing it. How can you know the bible and not know when you are not a doer of the Word. Pray for me. I don't want to be a hearer and not a doer. The church is full of hearers and so few doers. Finally, I will pray for you; we need each other's prayers.

Pressing forward!

There are days when our body and mind is totally in agreement not to cooperate with our plans for the day. This is true especially during an extended fast.  Fasting afflicts the body by denying it of something that it want and need to survive. Fasting done right disciplines the body to conform to our will, which is conforming to God's Will. But there are days when they are both on the same team to collectively blow-up your plans. When that happens, decide to press forward anyway. Your will is superior to the craving of the body and a tired mind. During an extended fast, I get tired quickly, but I have learned to use my personal power to force myself to do what needs to be done that day-I press forward. Don't forget to take note of the signals from your body. It can be a warning sign that you need to withdraw and recover.
