Goodbye Old, Hello New!

 Most people love new things, especially if it looks good and shines up good. The bible informs us that God does new things. Here is the catch, you must be ready for it when it comes. God will do a new thing in your life and you can completely miss it! That's true. You can completely miss what God is doing when you have allowed yourself to become distracted away from what God is doing in your life. In the bible story with Jesus at the home of Martha and Mary. Jesus was reclining in the living room teaching the Word of God. Mary was sitting at the feet of Jesus being blessed by His teaching. However, Martha was distracted because she assumed that the preparation of a gourmet meal was more important than the impartation of the Word. Mary was blessed while Martha was frustrated. Be vigilant!! Refuse to be distracted in the season of FAVOR!  Favor belongs to you. It can be worn like a new designer suit. But there is a catch! It can easily be frustrated by the old self centered, self absorbed, and self seeking old-self. The new you has a godly assignment and favor wants to ride along because the fulfillment of that assignment is FAVOR'S joy ride.
